Landwirtschaft ist industrialisiert. Große Flächen, wenige Kultursorten, einseitiger Pflanzenschutz, zurückgehende Artenvielfalt. Hauptsache im Supermarkt sind alle Früchte gleich groß, lange haltbar, sehen gleich aus mit dem Ergebnis, sie schmecken nach NICHTS.
Lebenskraft
Im Frühling durch die Ortenau (am Rhein) fahrend, ist man umgeben von weiten Flächen blühender Obstbäume. Das erfüllt mich jedes Jahr mit ganz großem Glück. Die Natur steht in voller Blüte, beginnt wieder neu ihr genetisches Programm. Alles hängt mit allem zusammen.
Was ist schön?
Wer bestimmt was schön ist? Wer hat die Deutungsmacht? Warum machen alle mit? Oft ist das “Schöne” künstlich, oberflächlich, schwer oder gar nicht zu erreichen. Durch künstliche Eingriffe oder wie bei den Tulpen im Mittelalter, durch Virusinfektionen.
Verwurzelt
Unglaublich, was unter der Erde passiert. Wie intensiv Pflanzen miteinander kommunizieren. Über die Wurzeln. Eine riesige unvorstellbar große wunderbare Wurzelwelt.

Industrialised agriculture means huge fields, less varieties, application of a small variety of chemical products at huge amounts, reduced biological diversity…what for? Products without any taste, available at any time for ever bigger super markets.

To cross the Rhein region (Ortenau) during spring time just makes me so happy and full of joy. As far as the eye can see, fruit trees are in blossom. Nature starts again its big plan… everything is newly growing – being in relation with everything.
Was ist schön?
Who defines beauty? Why is everyone following? Often the beautiful is artificial, superficial, very hard or hardly ever to achieve… by surgical intervention? Or like in medieval ages with tulips by virus infection?

Incredible what is going on beneath the soil! How intensely plants communicate with each other, via the roots. An immense unimaginable enormous and fascinating world of roots.
